What are hemorrhoids?
Hemorrhoids are swollen areas of skin and blood vessels around the anus. They are often felt and seen as a tiny lump of grapes arising from the anus. The size, shape and number of hemorrhoids vary from one person to another. They could be larger than a grape or the size of a walnut though the most standard and commonly found hemorrhoid is typically the size of a pea. They also vary in number from person to person. Sometimes there is only one, while some people can have many hemorrhoids. Usually a small cluster of hemorrhoids is found.
The word hemorrhoids is commonly mis-spelt...here are some variations: hemorroids, hemorroid, hemmoroids, hemmoroid, hemroids, hemroid, hemeroids, hemeroid, hemmroids, hemmroid, hemmeroids, hemmeroid, haemorrhoids, haemorrhoid, hemoroids, hemoroid, hemmoroids, hemmoroid, hemrroids, hemrroid, hemorroides, hemorroide, hemorrhoid.
